About Us--Dave and Barb Cook (608)943-8099 Dave Cook, the farm's current manager has spent the last 24 years raising grain and, until 1999, hogs on the land. In 1995, Dave and his wife Barb began to plant Christmas trees in some of the farm's unused pastures. Soon thereafter they began tapping some of the maple trees found in the east woods. Today, thousands of Christmas trees are growing on the farm and hundreds of taps are placed in the forest each spring to gather the pure maple syrup.
The Cooks' enjoy cultivating products that evoke pleasant memories for many of their customers. They want to invite you to visit them in the sugaring and Christmas seasons (or by appointment in any season) to experience some of the magic of the Wisconsin countryside and reconnect with the roots we all have in nature's life-giving cycles.
