Fresh Christmas Trees - Cut your own tree - Cooks' Woods, Fennimore, Wisconsin

Take a walk through the woods to select and cut your own beautiful Christmas tree, or show us the tree you would like and we will cut it for you. For your convenience, we also offer a variety of fresh pre-cut trees. We are open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning November 26, the day after Thanksgiving, through Tuesday, December 21, 2010. When shopping for your tree, visit our wreath, swag and garland displays in our heated barn. On weekends free hot chocolate and coffee will be served in the display area.

Visitors to the farm will find the following species of trees from which to choose: white pine, scotch pine, balsam fir, canaan fir, and a very limited number of fraser fir. Saleable tree heights vary with the specie: white and scotch pine are 6' to 7' tall, balsam and canaan fir are 4' to 8' tall, fraser fir are 6' to 8' tall.

Balsam and Canaan Fir (short needle)

up to 7 feet tall $6.50 per foot

We provide saws (please leave the chainsaws at home!) for folks who wish to cut their own tree. Shaking and baling of trees is provided free of charge. Tree stands, watering spouts and tree removal bags are for sale to make owning a real tree high on enjoyment and low on hassle.
